Summary Description of the Feature
The version comparison tool lets you view two versions of a project side by side. This allows you to review all the changes made to the documents, by you or your collaborators, in each version.
Access to Feature
Version comparison is accessible from the features menu by clicking on Compare project versions
Detailed Description of the Feature
The version comparison interface is vertically split into two sections, each displaying the content of one version.
Since a project can contain multiple documents, the user must first choose the two project versions to compare (1), then select the document to compare (2). The differences between the two versions of the document are highlighted in the interface.
Displaying Differences Between Versions
Colour Codes
Here are the colors representing the different types of changes indicated in the document:
Red = Removed or deleted content
Green = Added content
Orange = Moved content
Displaying Removed Content
Removed items are displayed in the version selected on the left. Since they are no longer present in the version selected on the right, they are represented by a grayed-out space.
The system displays the following removed items:

Paragraphs of clauses,

Paragraphs of schedules.
Displaying Added Content
Added items are displayed in the version selected on the right. Since they are not present in the version selected on the left, they are represented by a grayed-out space.

Displaying Moved Content

The moved content is displayed in its original location in the version on the left;

And in its new location in the version on the right.
Navigating Between Moved Content
Click on View Moved Item to navigate between the content’s location in the version on the left and its new location in the version on the right.
Display Selected Alternatives in the Document
The selection of an alternative is displayed as follows:

Struck-through description in red: content of the alternative selected in the version on the left;

Description in green: content of the newly selected alternative in the version on the right.

Displaying Changes Made to the Text
All changes made to the text using the Edit for This Project tool are displayed within the text.

Displaying Filled Fields
When fields are filled in the document:

When the relevance (lock icon) of content has been changed, the system displays:
